Go to BYU's Museum of Art (MOA) and view the exhibit "Think Flat".
Our discussion and analysis of Fahrenheit 451 can go one step further with a type of "mirror factory" in this exhibit! Warhol
created duplicate images that echo Mildred Montag as well as other
themes of reflection and identity present in our novel. You will be
writing a personal narrative next week and can come see and be inspired
by visual narrative portraits of self expression and identity. Come
explore these ideas and visit the exhibit currently open at the MOA on BYU's campus. Coco and I will be at the MOA on Friday, January 11th from 5pm - 7pm.
If you come and see us and chat about what you see and think about this
exhibit you will get some extra credit before term 2 ends. If you
can't make it at this day or time, but would like to attend, go at your
own convenience, pick up a postcard of the exhibit and come talk to me
about what you saw and how it connects to our studies!
